From the thrill of a “flight” on the London Eye to the culture of the magnificent Edinburgh Castle to the charm of beautiful Stratford, birthplace of Shakespeare, and much, much more.
Our tour will focus on the heritage and history of Britain as we travel from London through Bath, Oxford to the beautiful Lake District and onto Scotland. We include admission to many of the attractions we visit and in our carefully selected hotels we have included Breakfast and Evening Meals where possible but allowing you the chance to sample local cuisine where meals are not included. You will have the experience of your own Freedom Tours Director and in London and Edinburgh, professional local city guides.

Itinerary:
Day 1 - Tuesday 23rd September 2008 - Depart Fredericton at 7.25pm
Day 2 - Wednesday 24th September arrive as a group into Gatwick at 7.40am
We will meet our private motor coach for our transfer to London. En route we will meet our local professional guide for a panoramic sightseeing tour of London with photo stops. After arriving at the hotel the rest of the day is free.
London Hotel - Hilton London Paddington – Dinner in Hotel.
Day 3 - Thursday 25th September
Full breakfast in hotel.
We will meet our local Blue Badge registered guide for a full day guided tour of the capitals highlights. Included admission to The Tower of London, a river cruise on the River Thames, a "flight" on the London Eye and a 2 course pub lunch.
London Hotel - Hilton London Paddington – Dinner on Own.
Tonight we depart the hotel for a trip to the heart of Theatreland where we will see a West End Show in one of London’s Theatres.
Day 4 - Friday 26th September
Full breakfast in hotel.
This morning we depart London after breakfast and drive south west for admission to the mysterious circle stones of Stonehenge. Continue to the Roman city of Bath for an orientation tour and admission to Roman Baths and Pump Rooms.
Bath Hotel - Hilton Bath - Dinner in hotel.
Day 5 - Saturday 27th September
Free morning in Bath.
Depart Bath in early afternoon for travel via stop at picturesque Castle Comb and explore deeper in to the Cotswolds with additional stops in Borton on the Water and Stow on the Wold.
Oxford Hotel - Holiday Inn - Dinner in hotel.
Day 6 - Sunday 28th September
Full breakfast in hotel.
Travel into Oxford, famous for the University, for a panoramic orientation tour and admission to Christ's College (if not in use). Continue to delightful Stratford Upon Avon for admission to Shakespeare's Birthplace and Anne Hathaway's Cottage.

Day 7 - Monday 29th September
Full breakfast in hotel.
This morning we depart Stratford and travel north west pausing for a visit to The Wedgewood Pottery visitors centre and onto our overnight stop within the spectacular Lake District National Park.
Lake District Hotel - The Glenridding Hotel - Dinner in hotel.
Day 8 - Tuesday 30th September
Full breakfast in hotel.
Full day exploring the Lake District area with admission to Wordsworth's Dove Cottage and a cruise on Lake Windermere. We will spend time in Grasmere and Ambleside as well as travelling though some of Britain's most dramatic and romantic scenery.

Day 9 - Wednesday 01st October
Full breakfast in hotel.
Travelling further north we pause to visit Birdoswald Roman Fort on Hadrian's Wall before entering Scotland and travelling to Edinburgh.

Day 10 - Thursday 02nd October
Full breakfast in hotel.
Meet our local Edinburgh city guide for morning tour of the city with admission to Edinburgh Castle. Our afternoon is free for your own shopping or sightseeing.
This evening we will enjoy a Scottish entertainment night with meal.

Day 11 - Friday 03rd October
Full breakfast in hotel.
This morning we travel south toward England and tide times permitting we cross to the holy island of Lindisfarne for admission to The Priory and onto the beautiful city of York.

Day 12 - Saturday 04th October
Full breakfast in hotel.
Morning visits to York with guided tour of York Minster, the largest Gothic Cathederal in Northern Europe and our tour director will show you the well preserved city walls and the ancient medieval streets.

Day 13 - Sunday 05th October
Full breakfast in hotel.
This morning after breakfast we head south directly to arrive in London early afternoon.
