ROYAL NOVA SCOTIA INTERNATIONAL TATTOO
When the lights go up on the opening act of the Tattoo each year there is always a collective gasp from the audience, which can be felt backstage. This year that gasp promises to be louder than ever before. From the UK and Denmark in the north, to Australia in the south, from Switzerland, Germany and The Netherlands in the east via Africa and the Caribbean to the westernmost tip of Canada, this year promises to be spectacular.
Day 1
Depart for Nova Scotia with your traveling companions. Enjoy a stop at Jost Winery on the Malagash Peninsula, where the warm sea waters make it just the right conditions for growing grapes. Here’s another example of how the Jost winery is supporting vineyard development across Nova Scotia, vinifying a number of vineyard specific bottling to showcase the range of terroirs in Nova Scotian vineyards. The source for the Marechal Foch grapes used in this wine is Kingsley Brown’s vineyard, which overlooks St. George’s Bay near Antigonish. Arrive at your hotel, the Citadel Inn, late afternoon, then get ready for this evenings performance. Your seats are waiting, just steps away.
Day 2
Enjoy a relaxing breakfast at the hotel before departing our hotel for home. A stop will be made before arriving at the Champlain Place Mall to have a “lookabout”. Arrive home in time for dinner. (B)
