Boston Pops, Sold out
Springtime at the Boston Pops
May 23 - 25 2008
May in Boston is the perfect time to explore this historic city. This year, we will travel for a long weekend to enjoy Boston Pops. Each spring at Symphony Hall, under the direction of Keith Lockhart, “America’s orchestra” draws from a wealth of repertoire including light classical music, jazz, film and contemporary hits.
There will be some time for shopping of course, but not before we enjoy a guided tour of Boston, seeing some of the many sites Boston is famous for; Harvard Yard, Cambridge Commons, and North Church, USS Constitution and more. The tour will end at the famous Boston Aquarium. Here you will see nearly 20,000 animals of 600 different species. Highlights include the 4-story, 200,000-gallon Giant Ocean Tank that recreates a Caribbean coral reef environment, complete with sharks, sea turtles, and stingrays. See three species of penguins, and more than 60 types of birds. An interactive touch tank, where visitors of any age can interact hands-on with sea stars, horseshoe crabs, sea urchins, periwinkles and more.
Dinner is included on your first night and two breakfasts. Lots to see and do on this terrific little tour. Meet new friends and enjoy new experiences.
