Getaway By the Sea – Ogunquit, Maine

Stay at the beautiful Anchorage by the Sea, located directly on the famous Marginal Way over looking the Atlantic Ocean. Day 1:
Travel today from Saint John to Ogunquit, Maine.  Upon your arrival to the Anchorage By the Sea Resort, there will be a wine and cheese reception to welcome you to one of New England’s premier ocean front resorts. Spend the rest of your evening at leisure.  

Day 2:
Start your day with a full breakfast in the Surf Point Grill, and a scenic ride along Ogunquit’s shore line for a visit to Kennebunkport. You will enjoy a tour of the area which includes a visit to the Franciscan Monastery with its beautiful landscaping, outdoor shrines and chapel. Enjoy some time in Kennebunk Village with time to browse all the specialty shops. Upon your arrival back to Ogunquit, spend some time exploring the Village, explore Perkins Cove, or just relax by the ocean’s edge at the resort. Tonight dinner will be at Clay Hill Farm. After Dinner you will enjoy a live theater production at the Ogunquit Playhouse.

Day 3:
After breakfast at the Surf Point Grill, head down to the Kittery Outlets. With more than 120 outlet stores including Coach Outlet, Calvin Klein, Coldwater Creek Outlet, Crate and Barrel, Nine West and of course the Kittery Trading Post, it is one of the largest shopping destinations in New England.If shopping is not your interest, spend the day enjoying the sights and sounds of picturesque Ogunquit Village.  

Day 4:
This morning depart Ogunquit, Maine and return home to Saint John.
