President of Freedom Travel has shared her love of travel for over 30 years, 15 years of which she hosted the television program "All About Travel" on CBC-CHSJ GLOBAL. Ellen not only manages the company but each year personally directs and escorts our tours and cruises around the world. Ellen now offers her travel expertise on CBC RADIO ONE every Tuesday with Paul Castle " Shift ".

Heather MacKenzie, BBA, BTHM
Our Tour Coordinator hails from the Island of Cape Breton and loves to tell one and all about her island. With her 8 plus years at Freedom Tours, she has come to be that face that most clients recognize at the company. Lately she can be found organizing and some leading school groups. Julie Garnett, Senior Travel Consultant is your point of contact for all your travel needs. With over 10 years of travel industry experience, she looks forward to sharing her knowledge of the destinations that she has visited. Her attention to detail is second to none. Senior Travel Consultant joined us in 2006 with 20 years of Travel experience, Masters Degree in Management & Economics, Deep knowledge of Travel Destinations and excellent computer skills.Many independent travelers might have specialized needs. Their desired itinerary may include a specialized area of interest, or there may be specific attractions they want to visit that are not included in a ready-made itinerary. Lena has the expertise to arrange a truly exceptional tour itinerary.

Reay Wallace, CTP, CTT, TCP
Our Tour Manager has over 20 years experience in the Tourism Industry. Her love of travel is contagious and groups enjoy traveling with her wherever she goes. Group leaders and niche markets are her specialty. So whether Cruising the Caribbean, New York’s Broadway, Europe, Bermuda or multi-day motorcoach tours, she enjoys it all. Reay has been instructing the tour directing/guiding certification program for many years throughout the province through the CTHRC and TIANB.
