ghost_leftWhere Ghosts Goeth Forth and Treasure Lieth Hidden

Saint John has over 400 years of recorded history, some of the continents oldest cemeteries, several 200 year old homes and a street that is considered to have the finest intact collection of Victorian structures in Canada, is it surprising that this city has many tales of strange occurrences? Indeed, there are stories galore of things that go bump in the night, or slither though the banks of fog as it blots out the sun, and there have been sightings of swashbucklers, seaworn sailors, graveyard ghouls, and other manifestations of another dimension that have made their presence known to Saint Johners over the centuries.
Your guide, David Goss has collected these stories and will take you the places where they have occurred even unto the present day.
You will board the coach at the Marco Polo Terminal and begin your three hour tour.
Hear about the Ghost of fisherman Daniel Keymore, of traitor Benedict Arnold, of Major General Studholme, of the brave Lady La Tour. We will make an actual visit to the final resting place of 13,000 Loyalist Settlers….many of them unhappy as their sacred resting spot has lost all but 200 of its markers. Nonetheless, those that remain tell a poignant story of loss, hardship and sorrow.
Tour duration : Three hours
Please note the tour will include walking over uneven grounds and cobblestones. Suitable shoes are required
Cost per person: $45.00
Tour is best suited when your group is 10-20 people.
Tour is not suitable for younger children and those that find stories of death and tragedy disturbing.

This walking tour will take you through a part of Trinity Royal, Saint John's Heritage Preservation Area, and beyond. The Trinity Royal Preservation Area is a 20-block area in uptown Saint John. Trinity Royal celebrates the history, architecture, culture, and business life of our city. It gets it's name from the soaring steeple of Trinity Royal Church, topped by its distinctive weathervane in the shape of a fish, which can be seen silhouetted against the sky. The streets, whether broad and tree-lined or narrow and sloping down to the harbour, still retain the Royal Family names lavished upon them over 200 years ago by the Loyalist settlers.
The city of Saint John designated Trinity Royal a Heritage Preservation Area in 1982 and continues to nurture the growth and preservation of the unique character of our wonderfully historic city.
Our guide will help you with the directions to the 13 caches and enjoy learning a bit about the city's history and exploring the uptown Saint John area. Enjoy this two hour excursion
Cost per person: $25.00

BlueberryBlueberry  Signature Taste Tour

This tour is a guided “walking tour” that begins in a small wild blueberry “patch” where you can experience the early history, uses and harvesting methods, dating back to the time when the early pioneers came to North America and discovered this native plant. You then move on to a video and "photo storyboards" that tell the story of the progress of managing and growing Wild Blueberries, along with modern harvesting and cleaning methods, including a look at the on-site equipment.

Visitors who are lucky enough to drop in during the Wild Blueberry harvest will get a real-time view of the action. They will see how the berries look coming in fresh from the field, how they get filtered to eliminate grass and leaves and how the plant workers on the sorting line give the berries their final "hands-on" quality cleaning before flowing into the boxes for the consumer market. Out of harvest season there is a viewing area where you see the process of the sorting line and process of “from Blossom to Box”.

This tour also includes a viewing area where our gourmet sweet and savory food products (jams, vinaigrettes, etc) are processed by hand. And this tour wouldn't be complete without our “Signature Taste Tour”, a mouth-watering sampling of our many gourmet Wild Blueberry products, including the savory, "wild blueberries with a kick" products. All products are conveniently for sale in the adjacent “Wild Gift Shop”.
Tour length 4 hours
Cost per person $65.00
