Fundy Coast to Fundy Shore

Visit this picturesque fishing village where you’ll step back in time and sense the serenity of this picturesque area with its wharf, fishing boats and piled lobster traps. This is a photographers delight with a lighthouse and twin covered bridges with the ocean for a backdrop. Don’t forget to visit the wave-carved sea caves in the sandstone cliff if the tide is low enough to allow access while you’re there. Take a walk along the rocky beach and enjoy the sounds of nature around your. Learn how this small community was famous for its wooden ship building industry and see some of the highest tides in the world ebb and flow during your visit. You’ll have an added bonus on this tour of also visiting the world famous Reversing Falls Rapids where the huge tides from the Bay of Fundy force the mighty Saint John River to flow reverse twice every day. One more treat is in store for you before returning to your cruise ship. Stop and explore the unique old City market in the heart of Saint John and learn why the local folks have loved to buy fresh produce here since 1876.

Note: Considerable walking is involved on this tour but the beach walk to visit the sea caves is totally optional . The caves can only be visited at low tide.

St Andrews by the Sea

Historic St Andrews, at one time the summer resort for the rich and famous, is a delightful 6-hour tour. Museums, galleries, the country goal, time to shop and historic homes are just a few of the things we see & do on this tour. A visit to famous Algonquin Hotel, built in the 1800’s is sure to be a highlight. Enjoy some free time along Water Street to shop in the many unique antique gift shops and art galleries. Bay of Fundy Trail Tour

Join us on the ultimate Bay of Fundy experience in the Fundy Trail Parkway only a 1 hour drive from Saint John featuring scenic lookouts, footpaths, beaches and a suspension footbridge. We will visit the Big Salmon River Interpretive Centre to see a historical re-creation of the area's logging, fishing and shipbuilding days with interpretive displays and historic artifacts. The Bay of Fundy boasts the highest tides in the world and spectacular panoramic vistas of unspoiled natural beauty.
We will drive on the paved auto parkway hugging the coastal cliffs connecting paths and stairways down to pristine beaches with tumbling waterfalls. All this sea air and spectacular scenery is sure to give you a healthy appetite so we will stop in St Martin's for a bowl of famous Seafood Chowder (additional Cost at groups discretion). All prices quoted are in Canadian Dollars, we will also make change in Canadian dollars.
All timings we provide are on local time, ie, Atlantic Standard Time. Most cruise lines change their clocks to local timings. Carnival is the exception to this who stay on EST +1.
Your Freedom Travel guide will meet you inside our terminal here in Saint John. Look for close to where you enter the terminal off your ship They will be holding a Freedom Travel Sign Only. We can’t hold a sign with you individual group.

If your ship does not make port in time and there is not sufficient time to operate your excursion we will offer a full refund. If your ship does not arrive in Saint John at all we will offer a full refund.
If any member of your group has special needs or requests you must advise us at the time of booking as we can not make arrangements after this time.
All tours are operated at a gentle pace but some walking will be required on each tour as well as the ability to climb in and out of buses and some stairs
If any children are traveling at age 5 or under you must make us aware at the time of booking as a Car seat may need to be booked at an additional cost. This is applicable if you need a mini van, car seats are not required if you are in a bus.
The rate for a private tour is for 6 passengers MAXIMUM. It will operate in a mini van.
If you group is larger than 6 people and you still wish to go private, it will be an additional cost.

Otherwise the tour is offered in a 20 seater mini bus.
