Nova Scotia International Tattoo

One Night | Two Days

The Nova Scotia International Tattoo has been named one of the top events in North America by the America Bus Owners Association. Come with us as we take in this annual event. The Tattoo started with a drumbeat and the skirl of the pipes on June 28, 1979. First held to celebrate the International Gathering of the Clans (and opened by The Queen Mother) the Tattoo quickly became a beloved event on the summer calendar and has evolved into a week-long spectacle proudly supported by the Canadian Armed Forces, the Government of Canada, the Province of Nova Scotia, the City of Halifax, Sobeys, and many corporate partners.

This two-and-a-half-hour show features the best of the best pipes, drums, bands, dancers, singers, choirs, acrobats, military pomp and historical displays anywhere in Atlantic Canada. There’s something for everyone at the Tattoo!

Our tour will be depart Saint John  in the morning as we make our way to Halifax NS and check into our hotel in Dartmouth located in Dartmouth Crossing. We depart for Halifax, enjoy dinner at a nearby restaurant before the show.  The highlight will be an evening show with lower bowl seats to the Nova Scotia Royal International tattoo.

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, We will head out for a day trip to Hubbard’s Farmers Market, and on to Peggys Cove and the Swiss Air Monument before heading home  to New Brunswick with a stop at the Masstown Market for quick  trinket & treat  break.
